TERMS AND CONDITIONS Please confirm your plans prior to making your reservation. We are a small B&B in the Caribbean and cancellations affect us significantly. We cannot be responsible for rooms due to late or canceled airline flights, family emergencies, threat of bad weather or other travel-related mishaps or changes in plans, which may shorten your stay. While we do empathize, we must maintain our policy. Insurance is available to protect against any unexpected events through such companies as travelguard.com. Our policy is to never overbook rooms. When we reserve a room for you, we agree to turn away all other requests for the room you select and guarantee to hold it for the nights you reserved. We are unable to make exceptions to our cancellation policy. Room reservation is only guaranteed on the condition, that The Cyan House sends the customer a room confirmation.PAYMENT ACCEPTED: We accept cash at this time all quotes in EC dollars/US dollarsWAIT LIST: If our rooms are booked when you plan to visit you can still put yourself on our wait list. Just email us at info@thecyanhouse.com. CHECK IN/OUT Check in time is preferred between 3PM and 8PM, but early or late arrivals can easily be accommodated with prior notification. At The Cyan House you are on your own time, arrive when its convenient for you, life happens (late fights, early ferry’s) • Check-Out Time is 11:00 AM. • Daily room refresh unless requested otherwise. • OTHER: Parking One guest car per room is permitted in the driveway • Smoking/Vaping is not allowed anywhere inside house. Smoking/Vaping is permitted on the grounds. We reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee of $300 as result of smoking inside. • Damages: We reserve the right to charge for negligent damages caused by guests at the House. While reasonable wear and tear is anticipated, negligent damages found to be the responsibility of a guest will be assessed and charged to the guest. Please report all spills and/or damages to the hosts promptly. • Children (under 16) and Pets: We are unable to accommodated. • Guest Expectations Guests are expected to leave the property in the condition they found it. If you are booking for another individual, you agree that you are taking responsibility for their actions while on this property and agree to pay any rate or damage fees they may incur. We are a non-party facility. • Visitors’ Additional person charges will apply for guests staying overnight. Beds and rooms are prepared according to the number of guests registered. • Injury The Cyan House is not held liable for any injury occurring on our property. • Furnishings Guest may not modify or move any furnishings. • Linens Guest agrees not to use linens to remove make-up or to clean excess soiling. To keep our rates low for everyone, we will charge guests who choose to ruin linens. • Housekeeping Linen service is provided weekly for long term stays. We reserve the right to come in the suite during reasonable hours for maintenance and service. • Appliances NEVER leave an appliance running while not in the suite. If damages occur while Guest is away, Guest will be responsible for all repairs and clean up costs. Examples of this include curling iron, iron etc. • Alcohol/Drugs We have a zero-tolerance policy for drug use. If we suspect drug use, the authorities will be called immediately. Alcohol is permitted but inebriation is not tolerated. • COVID-19 The health of our guest is of the upmost importance to us at The Cyan House. We are committed to creating a SAFE environment for our guests and staff. Each room is deep cleaned after each guest check-out, special attention given to touch surfaces and linens. During your stay we will do a daily room refresh unless requested otherwise. • Quiet Hours - Please enter and exit quietly and observe quiet hours from 10pm to 8am. • WHAT TO BRING - We have fully furnished bedroom with ensuite and shared common areas, though there are some things we do not supply that you will want to bring if you need them. • Our suites have use of an iron, ironing board, hair dryer as well as hotel sized shampoos/soaps. • Our shared space includes coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fridge, toaster oven and microwave, coffee, tea, milk, sugar and water. • If you are planning to bring your own pillows or towels, please make sure you recognize your linens. This will ensure you and the housekeeper do not mistake your items for ours. Please take care of your possessions and be responsible for them at all times.
